Great track. I remember this warmly. It really gave me new ideas as a musician when I first heard it back in 1989 or 1990 or so.
Technique, Arrangement, Composition (8/10)
It's built up like a proper dance/techno track, keeping up the pace through the whole song. It would work great on top of a racing game.
Development (6/10)
It's quite well produced considering the fairly poor quality of samplers at the time. It switches between FM'ish sounds and chopped up sawtooth pad chords, which gives a nice contrast between sounds. The drums are produced they you'd expect something from the late 80s: A rather thin kick and a big snaredrum, but it works out well in this context.
Creativity (8/10)
I love all the little weird "bells and whistles" this has, and the many echo effects. It must have taken quite a long time to do, and this keeps the track from becoming boring.
Enjoyment (7/10)
I sometimes go back to this track and enjoy it. I even spent some time doing a refurbished (hight sound quality) version of this track without changing the music itself.
