I started playing the piano at an early age (around 5 years old), tried the classical music way but I encountered so many deceitful people around that I have been forced to retreat.
Unfortunately their ambition is greater than their ability, they want to emerge and dominate upon everyone else rather than enjoy music in all its aspects. In fact their creations are poor and uncommunicative, this is the reason why they are forced to steal other people's work.

Beware of professional music, it's commonplace to find false friends whose only purpose is being more famous and appreciated than you, stealing and claiming your best ideas to be theirs. A "rippers list" would be useless there, since plagiarizing is the general rule and nobody will help you defend your ideas if there's nothing in return...
Anyway, I have started making (ugly) modules on my Amiga 500 in 1987 with Sound Tracker 1.2 and ST-01, then switched to Noisetracker 1.1, Startrekker 1.2 and finally Protracker 1.1b.
Now I mostly use Protracker 1.1a on WinUAE, but I am a registered user of Fasttracker ][ (2.08) so I use it from time to time... I even registered Buzz at its early development stages but I find it to be a fairly useless bunch of bad organised good ideas. I have recently registered ReNoise too, because it's a very powerful application, maybe the very best tracker around.
If you want to check some more music you may wish to download Quest for the Dragon Orb from 1998. Right click and save. Maybe you will prefer this ogg because it is recent compared to most of the modules on the bottom of this page.
Note for listeners: please use only DeliPlayer to listen to my modules, other players may work but not the way the music has been intended to sound like!
All my music, graphics and words are released under a Creative Commons Music Sharing License.
We all spend some time doing something creative we love, yet we do not gain any money if somebody uses our products or intuitions in other projects, even if those projects are greatly enriched by our work. Being appreciated as indirect contributors is already an encouragement to do some more of that little thing that gives us the strenght to face everyday problems with an open mind.
Thanks to Mod Archive for hosting.
Respect to Karsten Obarski, the inventor of the tracker.
