Welcome time travelers.
I've had a ridiculous amount of names and identities over the years. If you were ever in #trax on efnet between 1998 and 2002, we've probably spoke, or at least participated in a 'one hour compo'. I had a girlfriend back then that would just rage at me whenever she heard me say 'compo'. Just really upset. I always thought it was hilarious.
I don't spend as much time tracking music these days. I tried to move on from Impulse Tracker to the more popular 'serious' software, but I just absolutely cannot tolerate piano roll bullshit. I thought things would be better when nash started revisit, I've been watching it from the beginning. When he started charging for it, I decided he could fuck himself, and haven't tried it since. You reimplement the Impulse Tracker interface, then fuck it up, and then charge for it? Fuck you.
Anyway, these days I use schismtracker, but it's awfully troublesome. I find and anonymously report bugs, and they've done a great job over the years, but even just last night I spent a good while working on a module for the first time in several months, only to find out I can't save because ".IT is an unrecognized format" in the build I was using for windows.
