penis denis the movie adaptation that isn't as good as the book by wvl & dhg for spring tracks VIII wvl: this was such a fun collab to work on!! i've made some FM things before, namely my OpenMPT demo tune, but that one was very experimental and IDM oriented, this one is way more demostyle-ish and groovy!! :3 working with dhg was fun too, he did a lot of the composition in the middle section, which was really cool to see come together. his composition really helped this module not turn into generic wvlcore! we had a great workflow on the module where he'd compose a section and i'd polish it up. i think combining my sounddesign/ mixing with his composing skills was a really good idea, and i'm very happy with the end result! dhg: This was really fun to work on. I think wvl and I made a great team, with each of us focusing on different aspects of the song. The sound design in the song is tremendous and there's a lot of fine detail, it sounds really fantastic. I have a lot of respect for wvl's sound design skills. It's also been interesting to finally check out OpenMPT's new OPL features, this is the first time I've experienced it. (I actually downloaded the latest OpenMPT specifically for this collab.) wvl made great use of it, I think the FM patches all sound good. The song is a great success because of wvl's hard work on it. DBZ FOREVER!!! !!! !!! !!!
