The first thing that I notice about this piece is that the melody is wonderful. It has melodic peaks and lulls (which provide contrast and heighten the piece), it is offset by great backup notes and chords, and it blends so smoothly with everything. Every once in awhile, however, the melody seems a bit computerized, probably due to the fact that the ends of some notes of the melody were cut off by new notes. Most of the techniques that are used in this piece are great. However, there are some places where it seems like using an extra channel so not to cut off notes might have been beneficial to the sound of this piece. The samples were very clean, they blended nicely, and I very much enjoyed the way the background piano sound was put together. This piece is nicely done.
