Surreal....by |N|O|R|G 10/02/1999 3 :10 - A kkd song url: come.to/kkd This one has been in the making for quite a while. Even so, it is still quite short. The KKD is getting quite boring to be in. I think sometime soon i will start a new one WWW.WWW.WWW.WWW.WWW. MMM.MMM.MMM.MMM.MMM. School has started for yet another mind-numb ingly boring year. To try or not to try? That is the question. ______________________ Teenyboppers + the 1980's (yecch) = Samford IGA music. That is the only thing I dislike about workin there apar from: fellow employees the long hours the low wage the cardboard crusher customers ...the music is the worst though.

Musically Surreal is nothing special. It has a good melody, and pretty chord progression, but nothing extraordinary and nothing new. The melody does sound fitting to the chord progression, however.. credit must be given for that. Additionally, the ending of the song is an anticlimactic fadeout. Nevertheless, Norg creates some interesting (rather eerie, actually) ambience with Surreal. Like most of Norg's other songs, Surreal is orchestrated beautifully. The samples unseemingly fit together. My only complaint here is the volume of a chip sample (#4) - it overpowered the rest of the song, perhaps the global volume of the sample should have been lowered. Either way, it was very cool how Norg made a chip sample sound like a much higher quality one through use of echoes, envelopes, etc.
