  Dark Worlds: Part 4
--The Daeliss Script--

It's very cold now. Very dark and very Dim. The atmosphere
of this place is terrifying. You sense dark eyes watching your
every move. You stand at an archway. beyond is a large forrest.
you gained knowledge of a hidden temple to the east of a village
you lodged at today. The people there were very friendly. Very
helpful knowing you are the one who is coming to help them be free.
The people there were sick. Were poor and in a very poor state of mind.
Your presence brought smiles to faces. you know you must suceed.

Swallowing your fear you press forwards along the path into the darkness
of this forrest. The quiet of the place terrifies you. Every noise you
hear makes you fumble for your sword. You try and relax a little. Not
500 paces along the path or so you freeze in terror at the snap of a twig
behind you. You hear heavy breathing and tremble at what might be doing it.
Its only yourself compensating for your racing heart rate. You press on.
You reach a clearing in the forrest. broken trees, stumps and ruins of
buildings are everywhere. You surmise that this was once a village... was.

Your torch is starting to extinguish. You grab the flint out of your pack
and re light it. The dim light eminating from an object not a few yards away
catches your eye. You investigate. Amongst the rubble of what appears to have
been a house, you find a mutilated body of a young man. You cringe as you
think of what might have killed him. it appears that he has been clawed to
death by something. Putting that aside, you rummage around and pull out the
source of light. It is a stone. You look at it closely. An object of some
kind seems to be forming inside it. Whisps of spiritual mist eminate from it
and flow through you. You feel your strength increase. Your moral has doubled.
Counting your blessings, you bag the stone and move on...

Furthur up the track, you see that it ends at an obelisk. On top of this
obelisk is another statue of your enemy. Chython, again, seeming to stare down
upon you with mocking eyes. You curse as you feel you have taken the wrong path.
Looking around above the canopy of trees, you see a lighter area of the night
sky. You walk into the forrest towards this...

Your goal is in this forrest somewhere.
You are lost now. The light has dissapeared... The path you took to this point
cannot be found. You freeze as the beginnings of demonic whispers start all
around you.
You hear a groan, then a sickening demonic scream. You pull your sword in
terror.  A roar behind you, then you turn around to meet the back end of the
arm of a great minotaur which sends you reeling through the air and into a tree.
You recompose yourself and stand with your sword. As the minotaur charges, you
swipe with your sword. To your surprise, the blade of your sword shines White
as you swing. The power from the White stone in your sword slices through the
minotaur's body like it was made of butter. It crashes to the ground and dies.
All of a sudden, all is again quiet. The demonic whispering has ceased. Again,
you search for the temple...

You roam for days. eventualy, you come to a river. You find no way to cross and
decide to swim. Unfortunately, to your horror, you misjudge the current strength
and get swept downstream through rocks and rapids. Your head hits a rock and you
lose conciousness...
You awake on the river bank some hours later. Cold, wet and with a big headache.
You stand up almost falling over with disorientation. You focus your eyes on wha
now stands tall and eminent infront of you. A Large forgotten temple. You have
found it. Looking behind you is the river which curves along around the temple
and flows along through the forrest and out of sight.

Centuries of growth are covering the outer of this temple. vines, trees, scrub
and other flora so thick you need to hack through with your sword to get
through. You see a large opening in a wall...

It is dark and musty inside. As you make your way through the rooms and passages
you sense the presence of evil again. You reach a room that is large and
decorated splendidly. Around the room, are ornaments of demonic symbols. Impaled
bodies on large skewers are planted throughout various areas of the room.
One corner of the room however, is raised, and on top of what appears to be a
pillar is a large chest. centuries of dust, cobwebs and dirt lay on it.
YOu brush it all off and pick at the huge lock.
All you need to do is touch it, and it disintegrates from the rust.
Upon opening the chest, A sudden feeling of cold comes over you, and out of the
white smoke rises and dissapears into the room. Inside is the 1st script. The
Daeliss Script.
You are overjoyed.  Wails of chanting and screaming fill the room as bri
lights appear out of nowhere and form into 4 figures. You draw your sword ready
battle with The Dark Brigand, The Man Rat, The White Ogre and The Giant Spider.

The battle is great. The power of the stone is extremely helpful. With 2 swipes
of your sword you manage to drop the Giant Spider. After a few close calls and
a gash out of your side, you manage to put an end to the White Ogre. The Man Rat
runs away. You figure that these were just creatures plucked from their dwelling
just to fight you right now. You feel sorry for them really. The Dark Brigand
however will kill anything for the fun of it. he is now all who is left. You
swipe and slash but miss everytime. The Dark Brigand hurls a large stone at you
and it hits your shoulder, breaking it. You fall in pain. It is your sword arm.

You sense defeat. Laughing at you, the Dark Brigand Picks up your sword and
prepares for the winning blow. he raises the sword, You prepare yourself for
death. The brigand drops the sword at your head, and you both your surprises, it
bounces of like it hit a wall. The Stone. It has erected a shield for you.
You feel a pain in your right shoulder. A white luminance emits from it and
disappears just as fast. You are amazed at its recovery. Your arm is fine now.
The Dark Brigand Drops the sword and runs in horror. YOu pick up the sword and
hurl it directly at him. It strikes him in the back of the head and he falls dea
You are victorious once again...

You have the 1st script. The Daeliss Script. You place it in your pack. You drop
the white stone from your bag and go to pick it up. As you grab it, you are
engulfed in white flame.
A flash, and without a second passing, you stand back at the
7 portals. This is all happening to fast. You need a break. But you cannot drop
your guard for a second.  All but 3 gateways are left to travell through. Your
greatest challenge lies beyond one. But you must go. Content with the 1st script
for now, you enter the next world. Hopefully, there will be a nice village
with soft beds on the other side...
