Huh! This has the feeling of a Sonic CD "Bad Future" remix in a way. It's quite a dramatic change from the original song, being a fair bit faster without changing the base song too much. I like it!

This song is the best remix of SONG.mod out there. Ryan Albano even uses it in his Need for Madness R&R fan game.
