I happen to agree with the comment by electrolyte on this one, It's definitly worth the download - clocking in at over 7 minutes it provides a varying backdrop to any activity you might be doing at the computer. Oldskool s3m wooo! :)

First time I heard this was in the game called Uplink by Introversion. When I heard this, I thought I was listening to some digital file such as OGG/MP3 - when I got my bonus CD, boy was I wrong! I can't believe how well this is tracked, it's absolutely superb.

Was this tracked? It would be very hard to tell if compared to an MP3 file, or even a song off of a popular CD. To sum this song up: Professionally done. The music is well done (well layed-out, I might add), it is pleasing to the ear, it never gets boring due to the variety thrown in, and it all stays within reality (compared with some tracks that go off on extreme tangents). I must say, there are only minor complaints: The ending was a bit ho-hum, and there were a couple of sections which I felt didn't fit well with other sections (the second complaint is merely my own opinion, however). Basically, I didn't give this track a 10 because I don't give ANY track a 10, unless it is PERFECT in every regard. This is one of the closest attempts I have heard to a 10. File size is very nice (400K compressed), there are only 12 channels in the track, and it has a rich, full-bodied sound. So, how does he do it? Well, I know for a fact that I'm going to check out Timelord's techniques, to see if I might learn something useful. Pretty much everything in this track is excellent: drums, lead, background synths/bass, and ambient sounds. Thus, the only thing I can do is to recommend everyone download this track.

I first listened to this after downloading it from dial-up AOL 3.0. In those days, AOL had a file-sharing system and people uploaded mods.
This is one of my most listened-to mods. The composition, changes, and different segments altogether make it awesome. Not as repetitive as many mods, and filled with a sense of majesty.
