Ian obviously has a good grasp of the technical aspects of writing good background music. ie Being able to sound alright without actually being so good as to make you stop what you're doing and listen to it. Unfortunately, this song never really gets going. It sounds like it's building up to something it never acheives. Shame. The instruments in this tune are very pleasing to my ear. They are well looped and sampled. (Even for 8-bits) Infact, they are so good that I may write a tune using them. (Watch this space!) Another good thing about this tune is the way it varies its samples so subtley. Not a bad effort.
