Hehe, a technical triumph for a change. :)
I used a few hours for the actual composing
and a few more hours for balancing the mix.
So there's nothing spectacular melodically -
except for the Insane CK Leads (tm) -
but I think I managed to mix everything quite well.
NOTE TO XMPLAY USERS:
Use 2 point (linear) interpolation or
you'll lose most of the distortion in the song.
This needs slight boosts at 60-100Hz and at 16kHz -
The bass boost isn't necessary, but the hihats lack
high end quite a bit, so if you want the best listening
experience, EQ the song by yourself or get the mp3 from:

So much happens while the base drone note never changes, from the slow ethereal beginning to the psychedelic drums in the middle and even some Middle Eastern flare thrown in. I feel like I was taken on a journey without leaving my seat!
