Hmm, I know this song as "Hyperstate" in s3m format, made in 1996 by Poison / Goto10. My file date is July 2, 1996, and as I recall, it was competing in the Mostly Harmless BBS music compo.
In this upload, however, the text suggests it's from 1998 and by a different author. "blocc" is mentioned in the greetings of this song, and Poison seems to have been a member of blocc at one point. Seems like the credits for this song is incorrect.

What a wicked cool piece of music.
Now, I understand there's some confusion on this module's credit... I looked into it and all references pointed to a "hyperflux.xm" by Doze / Flare ^ Khrome, which placed 2nd in Pool Position 1998... no references to a "hyperstate.s3m" by Poison / Goto10.
I hope this can be cleared up, I'm interested in the source of this confusion.
