Am I dreaming? (amidreaming.it)

This is an attempt to make a dreamtrance tune. It got kinda weird, and very
long. But maybe there's someone who'll make it all the way through and
enjoy
it.

Tracked over a couple of years. Finished in Mars 2012. Poem written in late
summer of 2012.

I feel a butterfly kissing my throat
While I'm drifting away
Gently over sea in my swirling boat
Am I dreaming?

I see skyscrapers from above
flying without wings
feeling the wet from a cloud
Am I dreaming?

I hear music of a thousand angels
singing somewhere in the forest
Their light is casting shadows in the night
Their light is casting shadows in the night

I'm a shadow in the forest
I see a gorilla ten feet high
sleeping on a brach six feet wide
Am I dreaming?

I'm singing in a choir of angels
A choir of thousand voices still so sweet.
The moons are casting shadows in the night
The moon is casting shadows in the night

A gigantic vulcano throws its thunders
On seas, forests and mountains
I'm running avoiding the flaming rocks
Am I dreaming?

I'm the moon casting shadows in the night
I see continents drift on planet earth
I see civilizations rise and fall
I see civilizations rise and fall

Outside the window civilizations rise and fall
As I calmly talk to my friend
We don't mind at all
Am I dreaming?

I'm a helpless little mouse
Screaming for help in this little little cage
Lonely lonely lost in this cold house
A house seen through plastic grid.

A hundred friends poisoned beyond recognition
The men slowly approaching
Steady grip around my stomach
Am I dreaming?

I'm a boy without glasses
A boy without smile
Everyone tells me
Life is nothing, nothing, valueless
I shy away in wee
I shy away in wee

I'm a shadow in the houses
Watching shadows passing by
Something appearing in the background
The colors I never saw before

So I open my eyes and see
See what my heart is telling me
A void behind their eyes
A void impossible to hide

Well I see a billion lies
A world wide web of lies
A spiders web and we're all in it
A spiders web and we're all in it
Waiting to be eaten
Am I dreaming?

A butterfly kisses me goodbye
I've reached the shore I go offboard

I fall I rise I stumble around
My enemy is tricking me badly now
Slowly slowly growing stronger
Starting cutting off the threads

The Earth under me is not right

If I listen I hear her slowly scream

Fight on my baby!"
