I really loved this music! It sounds very happy, and reminds me of the good old days when you didn't need a P166 to run good games :) I like the use of the different instruments, they really go well together, and the "hall echo" effect is excellent! All of the samples are very crisp and clean. Even though this is just is a chip tune, I cannot believe how good everything sounds! :) The only problem that I had with this music was that disjointed (and sometimes ugly) appregio. It might have been nicer if it wasn't used just about every line. (Suprise! Adlib tracker really did overuse the appregio effect, as the author built the appregio tables into the tracker...)

    THE CHIPDANCE
-====================-

done by MAD GOD
Size: 88888 bytes :-)
Date: 04-12-99

It took me about 2h to
write this thing. And
I had a lot of fun
while doing this. Man,
how I love these chip-
tunes.
But why the hell
became this file so
amazingly big?
The samples only take
about 9k! Strange
thing...

Well, anyhow I decided
to take part in the
Modarchive compo,
because I thought that
only a chiptune is
able to represent the
modarchive. It is
small and so easily to
download.
But more important, I
think chiptunes are
something every
tracker can identify
himself with.
I also have the
opinion that they are
the roots of all the
other mods in space
and that every tracker
should create even
one chiptune in his
life as soon as he
gets an opportunity to
do it.
And this compo is
my opportunity.
Have fun with it.

So, 'nough of that
stuff...

Greetz to ...

...hmm, ...well,
...you all.

Cya, Mad God

P.S: I know, I could
have tracked more
efficient, but I
like this hall-effect!
