orb it shone the light
of a thousand stars in
my eyes, burning through
my mind and my flesh.
I reached out to touch
it, and I found my hand
was no longer there,

of life splattered,
tarnished the glass floor
and quickly dried up.
I could hear music,
beautiful and soaring,
