Morbid Walker Presents:

Megaman 2 - Dr. Wily Stage One
OOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSVVVVVVVVV!

I know you all may be wondering why samples one and two are nearly the
same.  The answer is, the shape that the square waves take differs from
song to song on the NES, so I resample them every time.  In this case,
they are meant to be the same, since half of the song deals with echoes.
However, square wave #2 may not be correctly tuned to the original, which
is why its notes are a half-tone lower during the echoes.  However, all
the melodic samples are tuned to each other.

So much for my theory that all NES songs have the same tempo.  I had to
screw around with the tempo to get this one to sound just right.  It
sounds just right too.  The only thing I find wrong about it is that the
number of clicks the triangle wave makes differs from the original.  Oh
well.

Don't you just love the feedback-like sound that the two square waves make
when they play a C-5 and a B-5?  Try it!

I wanted to make this without instruments so I could save is as an S3M,
but that good ol' synth drum had to make its appearance.

Song time: 1:15

First Completion 5/30/98 at 2:10 P.M.
Second Completion 6/30/98 at 11:25 A.M.
(Some notes were one row off, and I couldn't stand it.)

If you think some of the echoes are wrong, its because you can't hear them
as well on the NES.  This IS the way they were programmed to sound.  Trust
me.
