Actually, it is spacesynth. I agree it is made and composed professionally but certainly this track lacks some spark inside and is emotionally cold. The leading tune is melodic but not as catchy as you can expect after reading previous reviews. All in all, it's an excellent work of superb quality but not without flaws.

This brings back memories! One of the best MODs made. No artist listed here but I believe it was made by Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen.

The amount of recognition this module receives is fitting. This is a superb song and it has aged very well. If you haven't listened to this yet, do so now!

LOL this is like the greatest mod of all time. I downloaded lots of mods off a BBS, but this one was modified to have the speed all screwed up on the NOVA BBS and when I found a player that allowed me to modify the speed, I realized how great it was. It was like Christmas when I found the unmodified version of this. With Santa Claus and stuff. Rock on. Love you Captain.

This reminds me about the opening of an old VHS tape... it is definetly worth to take a look at this module through a tracker program, because then you see how much the creator pushed out of 4 channels! There is not much room left for more. What a great song.

Well done. Another new member to my personal library of classics.
I'd call it "Spacey electronica"

This song is boss. period. End of story.

Just noticed there is a remake of this mod (with modern instruments) on YouTube made by the original author Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen - http://youtu.be/SjgnGw1kXOs
Still, this must be one of the best mods of all time ^^

This song is a classic. I wish I could write music as good as this.

By far my favorite. It's the song that got me interested in mods in the first place and it holds up above all in my opinion.

Nice job, but not one of my favorite mods.

Excellent composed classic mod-music. Great melody and great arrangement.

This one is breathing 'catchyness'. Splendid use made of 4 voices :)

Fully agree that this is one of the best .MODs ever composed!
Such a great sound and only on 4 channels.

Love it very much!

This is one of the great classics and also one of the first mods I heard when playing MegaZeux games. Definitely recommended.

A wondrously tracked 4 channel mod. It really does sound like the artist used way more than 4 channels. I especially like the intro.

member Posted by Saga Musix on Sun 10th Aug 2008, rated 9 / 10.

Definitely one of the best .MODs out there. Superbly composed.

This is one of the first mods I ever heard, and it is simply amazing. This was back in 1992 somewhere so it was quite new at that time(could track it back to 1991 by timestamp on the file). The guy that made this one gets all my respect and gratitude. Too bad I won't ever find out who it was.

Wow, this module is so underrated.
It is THE song which made me a fan of modules up to the point of creating some.
It is well balanced and had many different separate parts in it. All of them make an excellent use of the relatively few instruments. It is really difficult to imagine that there are only 4 channels in use.
I highly recommend it for the few who wouldn't know this tune already.

excellently composed 4ch module, demostyle and worth a listen.

I downloaded this song, mostly because I'm a serious fan of "Protracker", and once I started it up it was a instant reminder of the tunes that were once made every three seconds when Protracker was still heavily used on Amiga. This song is a brilliant rendition of these songs (well, it IS one of these songs) and has many strings and melodic strings as well as an up-beat tempo. I reccomend the song to anyone, perhaps not for deliberate listening, but for background use, because its quite a long song. Don't be put off that its not very big or that its only four channels, its quality is very good and the tune is certainly there. You'll still be humming it for months afterwards. The actual workings of the song are a tad primitive, but this doesn't detract from the actual song in any way. I personally think its one of the rare examples where stereo effects wouldn't really enhance the song to any great degree. If you like melodic/ambient music this one is highly reccomended.
