The analysis reads as follows:

Subject: Yehat Theme -- Army REMIX.
Data: Someone by the handle of "Obsetrver of the GTSC4" took it upon themselves to try and add on to Riku Nuottajarvi's original Yehat theme from Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Masters. However, whoever this "Obsetrver" is clearly had no formal knowledge of music and just piled-on a bunch of echo and extra drum samples "so it doesn't sound so old and pathetic."
Summary: Our scientists aren't real sure what the creator of this thing was going for, but they all agree: They missed the hell out of the mark.

That's the end of our scientists' report.

This tune starts out with some guitars (i think) and some drums. The melody is weird and it does not sound too great. This tune has many themes, a few of them which i really liked. The third part (starts at 1:02) i liked very much, i cant say why but it sounded very good to me. Although some parts sound kind of amateuristic, some others are very good and near professional. What i dont like is the ending, it just ends without a warning, most likely it is meant to loop. Which is does very good if your player is set to loop tunes. One very positive thing about this song is its size, unzipped it is only 64k which is pretty impressive. It uses 8bit sounds, which sounds like they originate from amiga, but i like them very much. Even if they are not top quality. This tune is a mix, but i cant comment on how good it is mixed because i have not heard the original tune. Tune Style im not certain of, while it sounds a bit ambient it is more of some other style which i dont know the word of. Despite a few weird parts the overall impression of this tune is very good. Very powerful tune which could probably have been a bit better, and better samples could have been used but they still work.

Original: "Yehat Theme" by Riku Nuottajarvi; Star Control 2
REMIX by Obsetrver of the GTSC4.

I made this remix only because the old song just needed some fresh tech taste.
I'll tell you a bit about the original: It was extracted from a computer game ca
Star Control 2 from 1990 where it presented an alien race called the Yehat. The
tried to be a theme song of someone who was the player's old and powerfull army
ally, that was now forced to fight against him and who later trigered a bloody
revolution. The song really was great, I just added some 'SFX', so it dosen't so
so old and pathetic. I advize you to play this song in the backgroud while playi
some other computer game, sounds uplifting.
