another masterpiece. this tune is not as happy as the "world of peace" or "joy", but "believe" is also a great tune by zanoma. again: great mix, strong rythmns, nice synth pads, superb melodies, ...

I am constantly hunting for good trance songs to listen to at work (a cup of coffee and quality background music do wonders for my productivity) and was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in the Top Ten. This is a superlative trance track, with a great melody and pulse-pounding beat. Definitely a must download. My only complaint is that for a trance tune, it is way too short - which is why I subtracted 0.5 from what would otherwise have been a 10. This song sounds like a professional studio production - flawless samples and perfect stereo/panning. Since this song sounds so well made, there is really no point in wondering why. In terms of tracking trance songs, this song is up there with Nimbus by Per Westerberg (imho).

Believe Composed by Zanoma Date of completion: July 2nd 2002 Time : 4 minutes 16 seconds Tempo: ~138 bpm (alternating 138-120-138-166 bpm) Style: Melodic Trance Software used: ModPlug Tracker 1.16 (www.modplug.com) Song Info: I got an inspiration for this song after listening to System F's best trance tune I ever heard on that time "Exhale" a lot of times, and so I did a few melody lines of this tune as an experiment... Then suddenly, those few lines of melody I've just created gives me even more inspirational attack... and I ended up finishing this song after listening to a lot of my favourite trance music as a reference. Obviously, this song was partly inspired from System F's "Exhale", and yeah, I admit that Veracocha's "Carte Blanche" is also one of my favourite trance songs too. ^_^ And for the title of this song? Don't ask... I've been trying to think of a good title for this song and I can't... In the end, I decided to settle with "Believe". ^_^ Please, play on ModPlug Tracker 1.16 or higher or ModPlug Player 1.46 or higher only! Winamp plays this module incorrectly. Impulse Tracker may crash upon loading this module (a total no-no). Be sure to have the latest version for ModPlug before playing this song... Technical option: Please set Reverb to "Auditorium" and move the slider to precisely in between Low and High. Do not enable Reverb. (This module has already being set to internally enable the reverb effect on only certain channels. However, you can optionally delete all S99 commands at the beginning in the first pattern and it can still sound right. That is if you don't mind having no nice reverb in this song...) Please do not enable Surround or even AGC. All song patterns data are copyrighted by me. All samples data are copyrighted by respective owners, whoever you are. Awesome trance track! Clean and bright samples. Nice strings and a fat kick. Great!
