I like the original poseidon tune by uncle tom, but the ahx cover is even better. There are some really good melodies in this tune and nice warm chip sounds. This chiptune is simply awesome. :)

This 4chn mod rocks some serious ass, it's TEH funky! Hammond Organs, a cool bassline, nice drums, it's all there. Superb funk in 4 channels. Oh boy. This made my day.

Good Psytrance modules are rather rare, but this is a pretty good one. Nice effects and synth, but an underpowered bass drum. :)

This track shows true beauty. The sequence starting at 2:00 is so full of joy, peace, happiness and life - this is great. This doesn't mean that the rest of the tune isn't as great, but this is oustanding. "Past & Future" is a true masterpiece by Nightbeat, and I could listen forever to those 5 joyful minutes of music. Anyway, only 9 points for this because of the lame fadout! :P

I dunno why this old piano sample is still used (especially in dance tracks), but it has to be replaced someday. :P Apart from that, this is some standard dance, nothing special, but nothing bad either.

1993 called! Yes, this could well be from your average cheesy (Finnish) Dance cd from 1993 or 1994. It's pretty much the same cheesy style. I wouldn't mind the music if those vocals weren't there... Next time, sing properly please or use Autotune. The male singer seems to be afraid of singing to loud or something and sounds rather weak (not to mention that all vocals are slightly out of tune, but I already said that :P). And who the fuck had the idea to put vocals on a surround channel? This hurts! :-P Remove the vocals and you could theoretically enjoy this dance track, as the composition itself is rather good. Only the end of the tune is really disappointing - where's the final note, the final hit, the final crash? Just a "Huudan", and that's very weak.

An excellent 90s Dance track. Nice melodies, a good bassline, shuffled drums and a nice atmosphere make this a really good Dance track. :) Noone who likes Dance music should miss this.

A famous module by PM. One of the few 4chn .MOD files he actually made. It's a pity that those chords that open the tune have really bad loops because that kinda destroys the feeling they should introduce. But when the tune starts to be really good, all bad samples are forgotten and I can enjoy it a lot. :) Awesome work, Jonne!

Well, the first half of this tune is pretty strange. But as soon as the famous chord samples from Purple Motion's This module has been merged. New ID can be found in the redirect field. fade in, it really sounds a whole lot better! That's why I like this tune.

A nice tune with an awesome (haha, pun!) intro and some really nice melodies and effects. Some parts are really cheesy, but I don't mind - this is a really nice track. :)

A nice electronica soundtrack with dolphins, SID leads, 303 hits, mysterious sine leads, dance rhythms and sound effects. It's nothing special, but nevertheless very relaxing and especially nice as background music.

By voting on "Counterpoint", I want to apologize for my rather low vote on "Counterpoint v2" (link: <unnamed>). Both tunes are cheesy and far too long, but they are nice nevertheless. They both lack variation, but this one is shorter and shows more variation i think. So here goes my 10/10. Enjoy this tune and also the sequel.

Most of Nighthawk's modules are just pure awesomeness. And this no exception. A nice mellow tune with a great drum section, superb melodies (that choir is quite impressive!) and a warm bass. Great variations, changes and transitions make it perfect. I could loop these 4 perfect minutes forever... :)

Some nice psy-stuff. Not Psytrance, but it still has this psychedelic feeling through the effects, arpeggios, the atmosphere (sample 21-23!!!)... This sounds pretty good :)

One can spot the dedication to Elwood here pretty easily - Elwood samples, elwood-style melodies, etc... :-P But seriously, I think that this module is really kick-ass. Some wicked melodies, basslines, a cool rhythm, etc... It's all there. And the best thing is that it doesn't just stop when it's getting good... Five Minutes are just enough! :)

Hm... Decent psytrance, but where is the bass drum? This bdrum sample is really not kickin' enough. The distorted lead is looping all the time, I would've appreciated a nice turning point. Still, a nice module.

This has a lot in common with Travolta's famous 'Condom corruption' module. Same samples, same style (and maybe even the same pattern data in some cases). This one reminds me more of 90s eurodance, though. Especially patterns like 20/21 are quite eurodancy with the flute melody, the digdug bassline and the drums! :D But it's actually quite nice to be honest. Not bad.

This chiptune is just lovely :) Happy mood, nice changes in the melody all the time, etc... :) Also, this one's pretty rare: A chiptune that's not looped and that lasts longer than 3 minutes! :D

I really dig the tb-303 work in this tune. The rest of the tune is also pretty good, although the strings in the background sometimes sound a bit strange (one of the high notes is always pretty dominant. The shifted drums are pretty nice - but they sound kinda pretty when they're solo'd at the end.

One of the best tunes by Radix I know. It has a decent length and it's changing all the time. The "phased" drums are simply fascinating. Definitely a tune you have to listen to!

Damn, this tune is cheeeeeeesy! The beginning reminded me of Nightbeat's orchestral work, but it instantly turns out to be very cheesy. Just like the rest of the tune, especially the trumpet melodies... I know this is old but long, but why does it have to be so cheesy?!

On the first sight, this module looks like one of those "i obtained a sample cd and am now trying out those HQ samples in a tracker!"-module. Most sampels are large stereo loops. But on the other hand, this is a pretty nice progressive house track. But decent proghouse tracks must be much longer! :D

This remix is remix not too shabby. The author seems to be rather skilled regarding the time he's been composing (2 years) and his age (14). However, there are some things that I particularly don't like: - Drums on surround channels: Rather distracting, especially on the bass drum channel. Use surround for echos instead. - Some samples are slightly detuned (sine sample f.e.). - Crappy "1 2 3 4" sample :-) Anyway, still an enjoyable remix.

A fine piece of industrial. It's pretty long (7:34) and is therefore also pretty suitable for background listening. The drums are nice and varied, the fat bass is just awesome and the leads rule also. :) Well done!

Awesome piece of funk! It just doesn't stop... Almost 9 minutes of pure funk feeling with cool slap basses, wah-wah guitars, funky synthesizers, drum solos Rhodes sounds and so much more! Pretty amazing for its size (just under 1 MB) Definitely recommended!

This tune is awesome! Good mixing and tracking skills are not the only strength of Nighthawk's composition - I really like the mood in this one, the leads are pretty happy, the effects splendid and the transistions are really awesome. But why is there such a simple fadout?! Nevertheless, definitely a recommended module! It's one of the best tunes I've come across in the last few days!
