Hi Guys - in answer to the Dr's question... very frustratingly, the chap who was putting together the website for me dissappeared without trace   If anyone is interested in putting the website bones/engine together then I am happy to create as much content as I've time for.

...not forgotten - just on the back burner.....

Cheers,

Dan.

Hi there,

Amazing job, Dan. It is very interesting to see what synths are behind the ST-01 samples, becouse I was a lucky owner of the disk back in the day! :)

Too bad the website thing. :(

Kind regards,

Saul

Look what I made! / Stamen goes to spacesynth (Everdune)
« on: January 29, 2010, 17:29:18 »
Hello peeps,

At first I'd like to introduce myself here, becouse it has been a long ride.

I am the musician behind the Stamen modules, if someone remembers some of my Protracker mods in the 1990's. I finished making music modules in the year 2000, and after that there were 3-4 years with quite minimal musical activity until three years ago I started to get interested music making again. The reason for this was spacesynth music genre. The same genre that was influenced by quite many demoscene musicians like Gustaf Grefberg. So I estabilished my new project entitled "Everdune".

Here is a link to my music:

No more Amiga this time, I have PC and Renoise. I also use VST instruments and Korg MicroX hardware synth. I've always loved Science Fiction, and it inspirates me alot.

There will be a new release coming from me soon too. It will be released through independent record label from UK called Alpha Centauri. I will inform you when it is released. :)

The Lobby / Re: What sequencing (or DAW) software do you use?
« on: January 29, 2010, 17:13:06 »

So I ask you:

What's your sequencer and why do you use it?

Are you clinging to an ancient version of it because the newer ones suck?

If you're not into sequencing, but are into tracking, what do you find are the advantages and disadvantages?

Just popped in to say hello. Nice to be around after many many years.

I use Renoise. I've worked with trackers in the past so this is very natural choice for me. The version is the latest, I'm unpatiently waiting for the latest release of the product. It is great, it is more than a tracker.
