I like the atmosphere!

Well, at some parts the lead ventures out of key so it feels kinda weird, but the mood of the song in general is pretty cool

maybe by using out of key notes you were going for a dreamlike "somewhat off" feeling or something?

Anyway pretty cool.

It means that people are lazy.

The percussion is pretty sweet.

Try to use volume slides for the leads as opposed to just using note-offs or employ a volume envelope or something (well it looks like you had one but you scrapped it or something).

Not bad, but kinda needs variation considering how long it is in my opinion. (not variation in terms of sounds or effects, because you have that, but in terms of mood or something)

MilkyTracker Tracks & Songs / First Module

Ok, I've decided to dive in this whole tracking bit after getting familiar with milkytracker and all that, and I'm looking for some feedback. Naturally this is my first file and all that so try to go somewhat easy on me  :P

discovered this a couple days ago but wanted to wait to see if this was fixed in the new version, it looks like it still exists

the bug I've found is if you've loaded or saved a module in to a particular folder, and that folder becomes moved/deleted/etc, the next time you open the load dialog box, milky will crash with a signal of 11.

If you're using the internal browser, however, milky just hangs.

This bug can be reproduced on 0.90.80 on 486 linux as well as 0.90.60. I haven't tested it on any other platform but I would assume the results would end up the same

so basically if I save all of my modules on a removable drive and I go to save a new file and the drive isn't mounted.... you get the idea.

So, yeah, for those who draw their own percussion, how do you guys draw chip snares? I've tried the method that described in the old video tutorials, but they always come out sounding rather thin.

The Lobby / Hey guys

Finally registered here...

Man, I remember grabbing mods from here and listening to them on sound trekker back in the day.

I haven't really done much tracking myself but I know a bit about music theory and I can find my way around FT2, so hopefully I'll be able to catch on rather quick

I look forward to talking to ya guys about music and tracking and what not
