Tracking / Tropez?
« on: March 23, 2023, 09:22:39 »
Hi all. I'm wondering if somebody in here has experience with the Turtle Beach Tropez sound card and how well it gets along with trackers (specifically Impulse Tracker) considering it being SB compatible and all. I remember a friend had one in the 90's but from my memory it was extremely noisy but that can very much just be me remembering the SB16 he had prior. There's a local listing for one and I might pick it up.

Hi. XM format doesn't support stereo samples which is probably why you have trouble finding such mods. However I seem to remember ModPlug Tracker having support for stereo samples in XM's if I'm not mistaken, maybe worth to take a look there. (:

Help Support Topics Archive / Guessed artist...
« on: July 31, 2022, 13:51:56 »
Hi staff!. I'd like to move my old mods on the site from "guessed artist" to my profile page, and hereby requesting Artist status. (:

Thank you.

Tracking / Re: What's your tracker / format of choice? And why?

Protracker 3.62 is the one I logged the most amount of hours in and there's really no other tracker that gets me in the zone workflow-wise quicker than it does. However I've started to grow real fond of XM and Milkytracker lately, even though I often curse over my hands doing PT-things all the time. Also Milkytracker looks really nice. It looks like candy with all the colorful digits and letters in the pattern. (:
