Look what I made! / Videogame music remixes
« on: April 26, 2018, 15:46:57 »
Anyone here doing VGM remixes? I did a few of Final Fantasy 7, Die Hard Trilogy, Castlevania and some others back in the tracker days (around 1997-1998).. 20 years later I have decided to give it a go, once again.

My first two remixes (interpretations, versions, etc) are available at YouTube, Soundcloud, Spotify, Bandcamp (free, if you want a download) and some other places. One of them recently made it to OCRemix, something I am very proud of. I have always wanted to have my songs featured on there! :D

Here they are, if anyone want to listen:

Help Support Topics Archive / Accidental duplicate
« on: July 11, 2017, 15:31:59 »
.. Could be the title of a cool song, but not this time. I uploaded some xm's a week ago, and by accident chose a song which is already on here.

Can we do anything about this? Read something about merging? Would be cool to have all the statistics from the old song, if possible. It's been here since 2004.

Song title is "Fluidity". The new accidental one has the file name: glejs_-_fluidity.xm

Thanks in advance.

Hi Glejs, welcome and be sure to check out MilkyTracker as well. It might feel a little more familiar to an old FT2 user.

Thanks, gonna check it out right away!

Wow, I thought I was a member of the Mod Archive already since lots of my old XM-songs have been available for years. :)

Registered now, and downloaded Chibitracker. I feel very nostalgic at the moment, kinda miss the old Fasttracker 2 days (1996-1999). Would be cool to get into Chibitracker soon and maybe enter som compo or something in the future.

Check out my page if you're interested to hear my tracker stuff. :)

Also, are you participating on The Mod Archive?

Well it seems as I already was participating in the mod archive, didn't know about that.. I even found a song there that I deleted by accident many many years ago! GREAT :D Oh and I also found yet another remix of one of my songs.. This time it's Bubble Man that has been remixed, very nice! What a pain, now I'd like to feature it in my mp3 collection.. :)

Anyways nice to know people care about my music. Search for artist "Glejs" and you'll find me. My best songs are probably Lucia Lunaria, Herbal Breeze, Sea Lion, Bubble Man and.. well I like them all :D

I don't get the link working (it always says that the archive is 0byte and the DL is 404).
if you didn't change anything, i think, everyone of us would prefer the module versions, including me :)
and yes, try TinyURL ;)

The Pirate Bay is sometimes down, just keep trying and you'll get through. If the URL simply won't work for some reason, go to the start page of the pirate bay site and just make a search for "Glejs". :)

I'm afraid there won't be a module version of this collection, but I'm going to upload at least some of my old xm's to Modarchive soon. ;)

I recommend you tinyurl that URL, there are invalid characters in it which are not parsable in the forum code. Also, are you participating on The Mod Archive?

tinyurl? I noticed it didn't work with forum code.. I entered this archive yesterday only, I can throw up some of my xm songs as well :)

Posting a link is fine as long as you say it's external with it :)

You might find folks here prefer original format files over rendered stuff though.

Alright! :) Here's the link, a fine external one leading to my torrent @ "the piratebay".

http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3650723/glejs_-_(2007)_the_module_years_1996-1999]

I understand if people prefer xm/mod/it at this site.. But still, I haven't enhanced the songs in any way. They are completely true to their originals. Oh except for one tiny little tune, where I made a little filter sweeping intro. The tune was very short and started playing a bit too sudden, that's why I had to do it..

Hope you give it a shot guys :)

It's available as a torrent (made by me, so it's okay ;)), but I think the forum rules prevents me from posting a link here.. I'd be happy to give the link to any people interested in downloading it. Send me a private message! :)
