The Lobby / Re: What genre is this?

Well, we expect all section of the review to be filled in properly, which is one reason why many reviews are actually rejected. If all people do is repeating "this song rules!" in all the review sections then they should rather post a regular comment. I will definitely not say that you shouldn't try to write a review, if you think you can rate the different sections of the review somewhat objectively. For everything else, I'd recommend everyone to write a regular comment instead.

Thank you. I was starting to feel guilty and couldn't pinpoint why, until I pondered. I'm glad I asked, as I respect the tracking community too much.

By Comments, do you mean the "30 chart points" one? That is how I've been doing it. I've never used the "500 chart points" Review.

Ah, thanks. =)

Off-topic: I wonder whether my reviewing is bound to produce results that are not as objective, since I'm not a tracker, and never was. A just and fair review is probably posted by someone who understands all the complexities that go into tracking: effects, technique, mastery of the software, etc. One part of the equation is quality of composition; the other one is technique. I'm only addressing the former part.
My question is, should I abstain from reviewing for this reason?

I thought it's acid trance, but this has a peculiar BPM: http://modarchive.org/module.php?145817

This is off-topic kinda, but how would I report a totally wrong genre label on a track? ('Trance' when it's actually 'Classical').

I don't know for certain, but chances are high that he just never released anything. Blue Stahli also confirmed on Twitter that he used several oldskool tracker in the past, but never uploaded any of his tracked works, so it could be similar case.

Thanks for replying, Saga. In retrospect, it's naive of me to assume that such a thing would be public knowledge. Thanks for such a nice reply :-[ :)

Hello, fellow mod lovers. I've no idea whether this has been asked before. I've read a few of Joel's interviews where he stated that he started with module tracking. I find his music to be intriguing and wanted to try to dig up his old stuff. Anyone know what moniker he was using?

Thanks!
