Help me find that... / Anyone recognizes this module?
« on: March 12, 2022, 20:23:54 »
I stumbled upon following un-credited tune which reminds me of synth / doskpop style from the 90s. Could you please listen to it and let me know if it rings a bell at all? This 30 seconds long sample is all I have:

Many thanks. :)

UPDATE - found

Coincidentally it has been also asked about in following thread:
https://modarchive.org/forums/index.php?topic=4876.0

And identified as following module:

Yes Saga Musix, I guess that is the only thing left to do.

I will download all of Beathoven's and also whole Infect demoscene group's stuff to see whether there will be any matches since that "no medicine against" seems to be their signature.

Thanks everyone for trying to help, I will update this thread once I find out something.

Alright, so I did have a backup of the game on my drive. I had a look through the menu and game files, however the game does not have any credits.

The game is called Pacho 98 and it was developed by slovak company called KiloSoft.

Here is pretty much only relevant reference to the game which I managed to find on the internet. Sadly the page is in slovak so it probably won't be of much use to you guys. The page does not contain download nor any more details about the game like credits for example anyways:

When I return home I will do some quick check of my drive, I think I still have the game archived and if so, I will spin up DosBox to see whether there are any credits in the game.  :)

Help me find that... / Who created this tracker module? (.MOD)
« on: July 08, 2019, 20:51:36 »
Hi, long time ago I ripped following MOD file (see attachments) from an old MS-DOS game. The file did not have an header / internal title so I had to fabricate one myself (LEVEL_2) in order to be able to play the MOD.

Text in the samples does not seem to help either, only clue is the strange "t h e r e ' s  n o  m e d i c i n e  a g a i n s t !!!" text which seems to be pointing to composer Beathoven, but this does not seem to be his work?

Anyone recognizes what this is?

Help me find that... / Anyone recognizes this synth pop-ish tune?
« on: December 19, 2018, 17:39:51 »
Some time ago I have stumbled upon the following audio sample which really reminded me of doskpop / synthpop tracker module or possibly something which comes off the 16-bit console.

Here is the sample:

Aynone have any ideas / clues what this is or where could I start looking?
