Help me find that... / Found!

I finally found the original MOD file with that ditty! I ended up downloading the entire modarchive via bittorrent and just started playing everything until I finally found it by accident.

The file is C.MOD. The module has the title: "Push (maxi re-mix)". Now I can finally sleep at night.

Help me find that... / Epic Pinball Music

I don't think there is such a thing as "Protracker Studio." Way back in the day when Joshua C. Jensen was writing mod players, he was always mentioning making a tracker program, but I don't think he ever got around to it.

Instead, PSM files are created by converting other mod formats to PSM using a special program he wrote. I once found a copy of this program in ftp.oulu.fi (I think), but I don't think it had support for converting back to the original. There was also an unfinished text file explaining the PSM file format, but when I looked at it, it didn't match the actual PSM file format used in the Epic games very much at all, so it wasn't very useful.

I was listening to PAPERMIX.MOD and right at time index 7:26 (as played in WinAmp), it has one pattern of a little ditty that I swear was a MOD file itself back in the day. But I have no idea what MOD file this pattern is originally from. I'd like to listen to the original MOD.

I think it was way back in the early 1990's that I originally had it. Way back when using the ModPlay program from Mark J Cox on my PC's pitiful internal speaker. I probably originally got the MOD file from a shareware collection CD-ROM like Night Owl's CD9 or Mega-ROM1. Or maybe I downloaded it from a BBS.
