Okay, da update:

Essential Sounds I is actually owned by Sony Creative Software. It's seen in few collections sold online and they're rarely available.

They usually go for $20-$40, so I guess I'll have to open my parent's wallet.

I used to have this old loops program by Sonic Foundry called Acid 2.0.

The CD it was in came with a pack of loops called Essential Sounds I.

Sadly, I could not find Essential Sounds I or Acid 2.0 anywhere on the internet, with the exception of 1 torrent on some Asian website, but I'm not good with torrents.

Help Support Topics Archive / Re: Module ratings not updating properly

Okay, in that specific case it seems to be modules that have received a rating by an account whose comments have been removed. I'll see what I can do about it. Note that in this case, anytime someone adds a new comment the average score will get updated again.
I forced re-calculation of all scores. This doesn't solve the root cause of the problem, which has not been found yet, but at least for now the scores will be correct again.

Thanks, SaGa.

Have you checked the instrument names?

If so, are they empty, or not?

The Lobby / Re: Tracker music in modern games

Sure, but what I mean is that they most probably didn't have any creative input into what kind of music format was going to be used. But what you said - it doesn't really apply here. We are talking about a game made with the original Build engine that 3D Realms made their games with in the mid-90s (Duke Nukem 3D etc) - it's not like this is a triple-A release but a hommage to 90s shooters, and a very accurate one as well.

I know this is one of the rare, unexpected cases, so it's best to not look a gifted horse in the teeth.

Perhaps there's tracker music in indie games but this is a big publisher
The publisher has nothing to do with that.

Big publishers usually have bigger ambitions and bigger budgets than independent developers, so...
