Help Support Topics Archive / Upload someone else's module?
« on: October 27, 2019, 13:35:18 »
I have module in my collection that belongs to an artist already present on the platform. They don't have this module in their own collection. How do I submit such a file?

The WAV to XI is available here. I will try it out later.

By the way, as I have the WAV folder, I wonder if I can simply use the WAV to XI converter? I suspect this is what MAZ actually did. Because all the loop info is contained in wav files.

Help me find that... / Re: An atmospheric track with a pan flute

I remember listening to it during 2002, maybe 2003. It was not a chiptune, it sounded like an ambient electronic tune. By electronic I don't mean hard trance, just that it was not something that sounded like acoustic music.

I don't know what else to say. I remember I was searching like that for a game, based on very sketchy memories. Posting to forums about a strange game with strange levels and creatures fighting each other, and some character having a helicopter on his head, and the levels are generated 2D mazes. Nobody could help me, but eventually I found it, it was Xevil :D

I will also search my folders for the XI folder, but I doubt I still have it. I will also hit my friend up with whom we made the original purchase back in the day and see if he still has the files.

I have written reviews and they are now waiting to be screened. However, it would be great if I could at least view them. Right now there is no way to access them.

Sampling / MAZ No.1 Instruments
« on: September 13, 2019, 11:16:56 »
Back in the day there was this huge sample pack, which actually contained both wav files and xi instruments. Me and my friend actually purchased the CD and it transformed our tracking lives.

I still have the WAV folder, but as I wanted to track something, I realized that the XI folder was lost. And MAZ intruments website is no longer there, and I could not find any information on it anywhere, even Google searches come up largely unhelpful.

Has anyone still got this?

Thanks for the suggestion, guys! But not these. This is really hard trance. That track was very soft, kind of ambient. Will perhaps try searching for pan flute. Man, not impossible I will never find it. I remember barely an impression. And thinking what a great tune it is and so great that I can listen to it as much a I want... But it was so many years ago...

It was a more modern production, for sure, it was either an IT or an XM. It was not by someone that mainstream famous like Awesome, and it was not a ballad. It was an atmospheric, kind of minimalistic track, at least as far as I remember it. And the melody was more like pan flute notes, not something you would sing, you know.
