Looking for an oldie
« on: April 28, 2006, 20:58:33 »

Hi all, first post here :)

I'm looking for a spacey track, dunno what format.

The most easily identifable thing about the track is that it starts off with a modem dialing in.. and then some upbeat sounds I can't really describe.

I thought it was called something like para*.* but I haven't been able to find it.

I remember leeching it off the now defunct traxinspace.com, some years ago..
The description contained something to effect of "I wanted to create the feeling of whizzing through a computer and its circuits..'
It was a really cool track, so I hope others remember it.

If anyone remembers hearing a mod starting off with the above mentioned fx, let me know, I'd appreciate it :)

Try this:

Quote from: "Jay"

If it was on TiS, see if it made it to the unofficial TiS backup:

Go to traxinspace.com and ask on their forums. You did know TiS was relaunched, right? :)

I cant help you, sorry. Your description is too vague for a start, not that I ever remember hearing a modem dialing in a tune. For all we know, it could have been an MP3, as TiS wasn't actually just only modules. Good luck.
