Thanks for the info. I hope that'll get me started, together with the other guide.

Do you think it is a good idea to start making a module of some other music track that i really like, to get started with the principles of the program, and not having to care about being as creative on my first attempt.

Yes, why not? That's a good idea. If you are unable to hear the melody by-ear, you can always try a free ear training program like Gnu Solfege or such.
