My longest track to date
« on: March 10, 2009, 15:51:16 »

After 2 months of on and off tracking I still find it really hard to commit myself to a single idea or melody, to lengthen and elaborate it. Here's what I've managed so far.

An improvement on your last track, Keep it going :)

Some critique: The melody is a little loud in comparison with the bassline, also a little bit too untextured in places. A little repetitive but at least heading in the right direction. I could see you use a pad to really widen the audio texture a little more which may also help the listener to establish a firmer grip on what the melody is doing in relation to the bass.

Thanks for the help.

I've been sidetracked lately but hopefully I can start tracking again soon. Good to know it's not just me that thinks I'm progressing.
