FT2 Help?
« on: April 16, 2009, 07:41:10 »

I've got DOSBox, finally, and I even got FT2 to work properly.  The only issue is I can't seem to make new samples in FT2.  I can load and draw on a sample I already have, though.  Is there anything I'm missing?

Before RTFM:  I read the Readme file.  I'm not so sure there's anything else as far as documentation.

Well, there's TFM. Anyway, there is no "new sample" button or anything, you have to work with something existing. A quick way to get some bogus sample data is using the sample recording function(s). There's a high possibility of them behaving oddly under emulation so if that's the case for you, just load a sample and use that as a basis. Sample drawing is done with the right mouse button.

First, thanks for the link to the PDF...  I already have a copy in DOC format with the download. Thanks, raina, though.
