Multi-Instrument mapping method
« on: April 30, 2009, 07:55:37 »

hello, i love nitrotracker.  ;D

i really enjoy the workflow of it and i dont want any arpeggio FX or really fancy tracker things i just want 2 things,
the first one fixing the following problem:

i've been working extensively creating multisamples with real instruments using nitrotracker.
i go about sampling my sound sources (piano, guitar, drums etc) note for note,
so of course i'd want the tuning/mapping to be accordingly.

so if i sample C3 - that's not a problem, but if i sample G2 next, i have to go to  to the tuning page and tune it UP accordingly and if that's not confusing enough, all the notes that are between C3 and G2 also have to be half-tuned as well.
when i sample a new note it always assumes the pitch of the nitrotracker template,
so basically the keyboard is mapped UPSIDE DOWN.

i know i only take about 30 minutes to do all of that and write my song, but i could work soooo much faster if i had that, because basically i'm repeating the same procedure all the time, which is very confusing even though i know my intervals. especially when i go about and sample 3 notes per octave over 3 octaves for example.
