When playing a song and the ''open file'' window is open the patterns appear choppy. Music is fine. This is on XP SP3.

I mainly use the internal file browser but I just tested this and can't say that I can see the behavior.

Well if no one else reported this yet its probably because of a unique combination of drivers and/or hardware.

Is it only triggered by this particular window, or does it happen whenever the tracker window loses focus?

In the minute I have tried opening other windows or options I couldnt reproduce that same behavior. Maybe I dont understand what you mean by 'whenever the tracker window loses focus'.

Well, if you activate i.e. focus one window, the previously focused window loses focus. Switching from Milky to another app would do the trick.
