Ghost Theories - Ambient/Minimalism with NitroTracker
« on: July 23, 2009, 01:46:09 »

Hello!
Just wanted to share my EP Ghost Theories which was created entirely on NitroTracker using only samples recorded via the built in mic. Even though the program is built for more beat-oriented work I found the interface intuitive enough for free experimentation. Also because of the ability to record slowed down samples through the ds speakers back into a new sample (repeat nine times) I was able to conjure up some pretty amazing crunchy artifacts and textures. The tracks are available as a free download, mp3 and FLAC from Friendly Virus:

More info available here as well:

Thanks!
