Freeze/Crash on resolution change (Win 7 x64)

I tried all compability settings as well as admin enabled but MilkyTracker does crash every time i change the resolution.

What i do:
1) Open MiklyTracker
2) Options -> Change Resolution (at least to 800x600) and Apply&Okay
3) Close MilkyTracker -> Crash/Freeze

edit: The captcha for this board was horrible and not easy to read and yes i reloaded several times!
