gaming soundtrack

Hi guys, i'm genecyst and i'm completely new here.
i've started two weeks ago playing with tracking music concept to compose a soundtrack for a game that i've developed.

these are the first tracks i've compose. let me know what you think couse i'm a complete noob and i need some inputs from tracking-veterans:

Is it just me our do you use samples from the game soul blade? Anyway great songs they sound really similar to songs from the old psx game soul blade. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgAQQKESKcQ  ;D

samples are created with some vst instruments i own.
I don't know soul blade soundtrack, i'm going to listen to it soon.
i'm trying to create something that sound like a heavy simplified and silly version of giga wing 2 ost, to fit a puzzle game for game boy advance.
