MilkyTracker port for NaCl
« on: October 18, 2011, 21:34:13 »

Hi,

I'm a newbie here. Just wanted to announce that I started working on NaCl port of MilkyTracker.

http://blog.exilis.org/uploads/saltytracker/milkytracker.html

It's still slow and unstable, but can make some noise:)

any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,

exilis

Thanks raina:)

I've updated it a bit yesterday, and it allows you to pick music from some preset selections.

Now I'm wondering about how I should implement the fileIO. Since it's running in the browser, so I guess the best way is being able to read/write files on the cloud. Of course it's also possible to communicate with modarchive.org directory, but not sure what people want...

Anyway, I'll finish the HTML5 local file io version first and submit the patch, and then I'll think of the new social version of MilkyTracker on the cloud.

Thx,exilis
