How to claim MODs as an artist
« on: May 27, 2012, 14:24:25 »

Hi, back in the 90`s I did a few XM files under the nickname M()()G, one of them was 70sporn.xm that a friend of mine
recently dug up, how can I be added as an artist and regroup whatever I did back then -

thnx

Phil.

Same thing here. I found my way back to tracking a while back and tried to find my tunes here and eventually did but only from the instrument text. Tried to log in but whatever user I uploaded the songs from don't seem to exist anymore. My handle was Velvet Flesh back then. Anyhow, would be nice to add my old songs to my account and start uploading some new stuff.

Can provide a link to one of your tunes to check if it is really not assigned to an account? If it was assigned to an account back then it still should be.

Its unlikely you ever had an account if you came prior to 2004, accounts came after.

No assumptions taken here, so we still need to know your current main site account name/ID. IF you haven't got one, go make one then come back here.

Note that new accounts aren't given the artist area access by default until either we enable it, or you upload a new module.

While you are logged in and viewing the modules you have found, check to see if the 'guessed' artist link shows up on them, if it does then we can help add those modules to your new profile quite quickly (semi automatic). However, if they do not have a guessed artist listed you will have to go through and figure out all of the module ID numbers, then send those to us in a batch, OR you may retrofit them to your 'new' profile via the Artist Area Module Management (there's a link in the top right of the Module Management area for it). Obviously to see this, you will need to have the artist area enabled as mentioned before.

Got an user up and running now, named "451".

Didn't see any suggested artist, this is one of the songs:

I'll try to get a complete list together of my tunes on TMA and PM you?

Thanks for helping me out here!
