Mods by SubSonic (T. Walter)
« on: December 29, 2013, 02:09:36 »

Trying to find other mods by this techno/industrial/breaks artist. There are three here on ModArchive (1, 2, 3) - uploaded by me - and one more on Modland.

("Onslaught" is my fave of the bunch BTW - great track!)

Having no luck with Google on this. He had a Geocities page back a million of years ago with about 10-15(??) mods on it as well as other stuff (samples, beats), but the site is not archived on and the Wayback Machine (linked) does not seem to have saved any of the content. The others may be lost to history unless someone has them buried on their hard drive.

There are tons of artists who used the handle 'SubSonic' but this guy always signed his real name in the text - T. Walter.

I've uploaded what I have. Anyone else?

Following up after a few months... I managed to track down most of this artist's songs. Some are from Axxy, some I found on Hornet Archive mirrors and some are from my own HDD backups from back in the day (seems I didn't delete as much as I thought!)

The originals:
Onslaught (I love this! Kicking breaks with some awesome acid guitar)

New uploads:
Big Brother
Freedom has an AK
Untitled (I think this is called 'Buzz' on his website)
Omen (great trance~y track, with a bit of tribal drums)
Until the End (nice goa lines)
Sleep (another trancey chill tune, lovely warm organ pads)
Shellshock (*Awesome* jungle piece - just listen to that chopped-up break!)
Speed is Good
Whacked (if you like hoovers click this one!)
I Can't Be Bothered

Those are all the ones I can find for now... I'm still missing "Just Another Brown Suit" and "Koresh" (<-- I don't wanna google for that :D), but I hope I did the tracker community some good. It was fun to 'curate' a bunch of great mods from an otherwise forgotten artist.
