Sort by genre.
« on: May 29, 2014, 15:56:23 »

Hello. What the best way to sort content of the torrent's by genre?

I'll try to parse mod archive lite with curl, but it's a bad idea, first banned my ip, then banned my subnet, sorry about that workload, i really don't want create some problems for other subnet users, please unbanned if you can, after that i think problem being in the shell script when curl get "Page Quota Exceeded" he continue send requests, now i fix that. But that way is too long.

Can you help me by provide list of all  filename's with genre or saying what a limit of request to modarchive.org in 1 hour?

sorry for my english

Hi.

Scraping the website (be it the main site or the lite version) is frowned upon, especially considering the inefficiency of using this method of retrieving data from the archive. As you mention, this type of activity is likely to get your IP address or your ISP's address ranges banned for a period of time.

Instead of scraping the website, I suggest that you check out the site API documentation, and consider applying for an API key if you think that it could cover your needs.

Thanks!
