Advanced Search ?
« on: August 23, 2016, 19:34:57 »

Hi,

Just a thought -
Would love to be able to search the site by crossing multiple 'Genre'(s) and 'File Size'(s)..
This does not seem to be available thru search options currently available.
Would also love it if file size could be input manually (say 1 - 1111), instead of via increments (as currently available).

Is this available thru API ? (with all other parameter kept blank, no File Name, no File Type).
Can API be run through Postman and such (don't have a dedicated program to use it with), what's the call that should be used ? Where should it be directed?
Finally, it would be great if a bunch of files could be downloaded via zip (something up to a reasonable size, not unlimited).

I, for example, would love to be able to search for files sized 1-222 Kilobytes (for example), off various electronic genres and be able to batch download them. I care less for ratings, just wanna hear people's work, that was composed without using bloated samples. ..

just a thought,
a

This used to be the default, but some people didn't like it, so it's off by default. You can download zipped versions of the modules by append a "&zip=1" to the download link.

Not currently possible, also not throug the API. The API allows searching for arbitrary file size segments though, IIRC.

I don't know what Postman is, but the API can be used by any HTTP client that can somehow process XML data.
