Wow, you could not be less vague, could you? :shock:

Are you looking for trackers, mayhaps?

These should work on XP if it's trackers your looking for.

ModPlug Tracker
Madtracker
Skale (still going?)
Renoise

@mod
Is there a sticky (pinned) for things like this?

@axxy, no, nothing at least pertaining to a "whats easy" anyway...

But there is the links to some tracker software here:

Milkytracker also runs under Windows XP, and other OS's including Linux. But it's a tracker. Tracker's ain't easy. Not as easy, say, as E-jay ;)

Sorry for being vague, but I'm new to this...I've downloaded the .wav files and I'm looking for a simple program to compose a beat for remixing

Ps. Does anyone compose on there Pocket PC?

The #1 most beginner friendly tracker I know about is ModPlug Tracker (which you can get here: http://www.modplug.com/trackerinfo.html).

If you are looking for a tracker for PocketPC, there is Psytexx (which you can find here: http://www.warmplace.ru/soft/palm/) for PalmOS and then there's good ol' MilkyTracker (which you can get here: http://www.milkytracker.net/?DOWNLOADS).
