Support for .scl scala tuning files (microtonal support)
« on: October 31, 2019, 22:00:05 »

.scl files are tuning files which have a simple enough ascii file format. Here is an example of a normal 12edo tuning:

! 12edo.scl
! Created using Scale Workshop 1.0.2
!
12edo
 24
!
 100.00000000000007
 200.00000000000014
 300.0000000000002
 400.0000000000003
 500.00000000000034
 600.0000000000005
 700.0000000000006
 800.0000000000007
 900.0000000000008
 1000.0000000000009
 1100.000000000001
 1200.000000000001
 1300.000000000001
 1400.000000000001
 1500.000000000001
 1600.000000000001
 1700.000000000001
 1800.000000000001
 1900.000000000001
 2000.000000000001
 2100.000000000001
 2200.000000000001
 2300.000000000001
 2400.000000000001

This line and after are not in the file. This website can create .sci files:

also Scala can be used. The data above is given in cents. I believe 24 is the number of tones or microtones given. Two octaves. It would be great if Milkytracker had this functionality because I prefer Milkytracker to openMPT - I just find it easier to use.
