Module Deletion
« on: May 18, 2020, 08:06:34 »

Could I please have all my modules removed from my account? I uploaded them when I started teaching myself how to use trackers. My skill has improved vastly since then and every single one of my current uploads do not represent what I can do. I have not uploaded for years in fear that my new modules will be flooded with my old ones, which there are many of.
I'd like to start uploading again on a blank slate.

Thank you!

Generally we don't delete modules, what has been spread cannot be unspread - people who already downloaded the files may upload them again and, much more importantly, we provide a yearly torrent file with all uploaded files and it is technically impossible to delete a file from a torrent once it has been uploaded. I'm afraid the modules will stay in those torrents forever.

However, what I can offer is to unassign all the modules from your profile and make the module texts invisible on the website, so that they are not directly associated with you anymore.

On a personal note - I still have my early tracker works assigned to my account, and I do not regret it. People who download them will be well aware that they are early works and do not represent my current skill level. Noone will assume that you were born as a pro musician.

I do believe that would be the next best thing. I understand the way the site works, and I hadn't considered that to be an option.
Thank you for your time!

Okay, I'll take care of that in the next few days then.
