VST Sources for Trackers that use them>>>>
« on: December 05, 2020, 14:01:40 »

Have been auditioning VSTs for the H8 Tracker so have amassed all kinda source links that you won't find on VSTUpYou or VST4Fee or those other 'compiling' sites that are starting to get irritating with all the ads, demo links or link leads to commercial product or is just DEAD!

I have nothing to gain so you get the real deal...

I mostly look for 'OLDIES' Win32...I have a 64bit machine but only use it for graphic stuff & all my others are 32bit for audio as there is so much 32bit that will never see 64bit and many 32bit plugs are becoming free now as well....

First site here many old plugs, original free Muon Tau & Original Free Phatmatik (uses REX not RX2) and 2 favs by Stefan Jeworowski...Others too

LePou Cabinets...Amazingly ALL these work perfect in H8 Tracker so should work in ANYTHING-

For a really long list of plugins recommened by OpenMPT users check out these threads:
Effects: https://forum.openmpt.org/index.php?topic=331.0
Instruments: https://forum.openmpt.org/index.php?topic=332.0

Note that the threads have been running for almost 15 years, so some older links may no longer work. It's best to start from the last page and go backwards to find some nice plugins.

Yeah...Thanks for that lead, might be some worth digging out...

I am putting up links here that work TODAY with no going to compiling sites or KVR which is downhill in motion...

And with a slant to work on old VST sequencers which are picky...I am using H8 Tracker to test and if I say it passed in THAT, then they should run in ANYTHING...Reason 1.0, FreeBase, BUZE (finicky scanning), EvoBeats Sequential Vibes (Finicky scanner) or any OLD piano-roller like Ultrano Dreamer, LUNA, DeltaSP-Macaw or OLD Abletons or Logics...

Just to name a few...

Here are some from DSP.Mutagen...Have tested the MutantKoto in H8 Tracker works fine should work in any other...Other plugs too test soon-

Code-Audio Fat-Ass Plugs, synthedit not work in H8 maybe for you-

HGsounds Freebies but all installer so no test yet-

https://hgsounds.com/product-category/free-vst-plugins/

A few rare from old TAL-audio all work in H8-

Continuing on...

All these work great in H8 Tracker so probably will in Skale Tracker which I'll be testing too...

SIR Reverb Free which is fantastic...Uses impulse WAVs-

https://web.archive.org/web/20061209230157/www.knufinke.de/sir/index_en.html

Devine LSR Live-Sync Recorder...Records 1-2 bar sectors for whatever-

https://web.archive.org/web/20050908033458/www.devine-machine.com/LSRfree.html

https://web.archive.org/web/20060516203327/www.rgcaudio.com/sfz.htm

And Galactix 1.4 VSTi...Full function no crash in H8 Tracker-

https://web.archive.org/web/20080704024003/http://alex.smartelectronix.com/

All these Vellocet plugs work great-

https://web.archive.org/web/20020124053543/http://www.vellocet.com/software.html
