Modules Made for SNESMOD: Pitch Modulation
« on: January 03, 2022, 06:03:25 »

Most of my modules are made for SNESMOD.

Normally, they'd sound the same, IT or SPC, give or take some extra echo.

However, I've made my first song using pitch modulation, one of the capabilities the SNES has that some versions of SNESMOD support but the IT format does not natively support, and now the parity between the source IT and the converted SPCs is basically gone.

Here's what the SPC version is supposed to sound like.

The source IT doesn't sound like this, and that's what I'm worried about.

All of my modules have to be screened in a conventional tracker because people navigating the MOD Archive will use a conventional tracker to listen to my modules, regardless of context.
