hi ! i found this page via the websearch and i hope you can help me :), i dunno where those samples originated from but i wonder if these samples are legal to use or sampling or do you have to ask the creater first/musician? i  dunno the mod scene that well. thx

While back in the day it was frowned upon to rip or bite samples for your own songs, I think it's somewhat less frowned upon today.

As for legality, I can't say for certain if it's legal but a lot of samples in modules were taken from the keyboards and synth patches of the era.

For what it's worth many of the copyright snafus of recent history are for taking melodies.
