Hi Everyone,

I have found these nice songs on cassette tapes and not be able to find them anywhere. Music recognition software keep giving false solutions. I suppose they are mods! Please help me with this.

I think 1, 3, and 4 are way too high quality to be mods, especially the fourth one.

the second one is definitely a mod, and sounds a lot like it was made by Jester, but I may be wrong. in terms of 80s/90s tracker artists, I only know a few of them.

update on the second one:

I checked every one of Jester's songs on TMA, and I didn't find it.

however, something interesting I noticed, is that the sample set of the recording seems like it's exactly the same as Elysium by Jester. it's more likely that someone took the module, cleared all patterns, and made a new song, but using the exact same samples. I might look through collections of mod files to see if I can find it whenever I have time.

it's called Fantasy. the author is unknown apparently. Exemplar of Majic12  (thanks Axxy!)
it also doesn't seem to be on modarchive, only modland.

I think I was correct about the samples. the person who made this took Jester's song, cleared the patterns, and wrote their own music using Jester's samples.

again, as for the other three songs you posted, I'm pretty sure they are way too high quality to be mods. if anyone else thinks I'm wrong, feel free to let me correct me!

oh cool! I saw that it was listed under "unknown" on modland, and didn't think of trying to find it on AMP or anywhere else..
